La Mitad del Mundo

Yesterday morning Lily and I went on an excursion to La Mitad del Mundo, the equator. Thats right folks, I was in the middle of the world. It was all a little silly, we went to a museum where they did strange equator tricks like balancing and egg on the head of nail, but it was all in good fun. The bus ride there and back, about an hour and a half each way, was also amusing because we were able to see the outskirts of the city.

Hey,
I'm glad you're having a good time and settling in well. Your house sounds like a relaxing and fun environment. I'm pretty jealous about the weather too.

Don't worry too much about the meat, it makes sense not to be too picky about it. Just don't eat too much guinea pig. (If I remember from high school it's eaten a lot in Ecuador and Peru)

Bret's been enjoying the use of your parking spot, but you're missed around the house. Take lots of pictures.

thanks for the house update! of course i haven't heard from the guys. the weather does rule, but i have to be careful not to get too much sun even though it feels so nice. i think sunscreen was the most expensive thing i have bought since being here. no guinea pig heads for me.
